Thought I’d share this DIY geomancy kit for casting Novenary Charts, which only consists of 24 popsicle sticks (6.5 cm x 1 cm), a six-sided die, and a small flannel bag. Each stick has a single point on one side and two points on the opposite side (marked with a Sharpie). If need be, four more sticks could be added to form the Ternion figure (see FNG, section 2.2, para. 8).

All in all, this kit is very portable, incredibly lightweight, and only requires a flat surface to lay out a chart. Moreover, after having conducted a few readings with it, I came to appreciate its tactility, especially after years of using georatio.com and graphic design programs to display my charts. I suppose there’s something to be said for physically interacting with the figures in this way.
